Artist Katy Krantz, along with the City of Santa Clarita, are in the process of creating a tile mural for the new Canyon Country Community Center.
ARTree hosted an hour-long session, and invited artists from the Santa Clarita Artists Association and community artists to make their mark.
Thanks to those to came to draw! Katy was able to take 50 additional tiles to add from our session.

ART TO-GO KITS
MONTHLY TAKE HOME KITS
When we were unable to gather for our monthly, free open studio time - Flutterby - ARTree started putting together art kits for our families to do at home.
Each kit contains 5 craft projects, each with detailed instructions and materials. Our volunteers helped assemble 25 kits per month.
PARTNERSHIPS & PROGRAMS
ART FOR ALL
ARTree held its first-ever painting class - Art for All - for special needs students and their caregivers in the Fall of 2019. Look for this class to return late summer 2021.
We are currently partnering with another non-profit, Include Everyone Project to offer free, 30 min. art project Zoom sessions for special needs students.
See the full range of dance, music and theater opportunities offered by Include Everyone Project.
In response to the changing world of education in 2020-2021, ARTree became a vendor for iLead Schools, providing virtual classes for ages 5-7 and for ages 8-12.
With 3 week blocks in drawing, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, printmaking/collage and sculpture, students attend live, online classes with 5 different teachers; each bringing their own expertise and enthusiasm.
Home study classes will continue in the 2021-2022 school year, expanding to offer both online and in-person options.
Happy student feedback on her class experience:
"It was the best thing ever and I loved it!"

Happy troop leader feedback:
"One year into my Girl Scout troop’s life going online, it’s hard to keep the girls engaged and excited about doing anything virtually. The collage class we took through ARTree gave the girls a hands-on experience in which the teacher allowed the girls to feel confident to explore a new way of making art. It made such an impact on the girls that some went on to teach this class to their siblings or continue to make collages in their free time. It was extremely easy to plan this class with ARTree and I’m very glad I did!"
