Dal-Jeem is an illustrator and character designer with a passion for storytelling. He studied Illustration, Entertainment Art & Creative Writing at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. His work brings an energetic and narrative-driven approach to character creation.
As an instructor he aims to help students find their own voice, encouraging them to explore design as a tool for storytelling and self-expression.
Jeri Melo

Jeri has been an educator since 2005, teaching everywhere from preschools and after-school programs to children's fitness centers...and even a bus renovated into a mobile classroom. Grounded in early childhood education, she is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that blend culture, art, and music. She is committed to teaching individuals of all ages and abilities, ensuring every learner feels empowered, included and supported.
Sol Seager

Miss Sol believes art is for everyone and all abilities. Her classes are dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students. She loves planning fun holiday crafts and believes everyone has a creative spark. Passionate about sustainability, she incorporates recyclable materials into projects. In her free time, she loves watching Disney movies and documentaries on science, history, film making and music. She dreams of visiting the Louvre museum and all the Disney theme parks around the world.

Ms. Raux has worked as a Sneaker Customizer for almost 10 years at SoCal high schools and art museums.
In her time off, she enjoys hiking the trails in Valencia with her dog, MoMo!
She is an advocate for Mental Health, who believes a healthy body begins with a healthy mind through creative self-expression. She shares this theory with students, because she believes the young mind is where creativity thrives.

Jose has been a resident of Santa Clarita for 38 years. He is a member of the Santa Clarita Artists Association.
He is best known for his seascapes which are painted with pastels, acrylics and oils.
Jose has a passion for teaching. He loves to share his techniques with students of all ages. He has a wife, 2 daughters, and 2 grandchildren.
Yaron Farkash

Yaron is a storyboard artist and director working in the Los Angeles animation industry.
He has worked for studios such as DreamWorks, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, and Sony Pictures Animation.
Yaron is passionate about art, animation, comics, movies, and games.
He believes that art is a way we can all express ourselves, get to know ourselves a little bit better, and connect with our humanity.
Yaron currently lives with his wife, Lucy, and their cat, Moomy, in Valencia.

As an art instructor, I am deeply in love with children's art and creating art with them.
Children possess so much spontaneity, expressiveness, and honesty in their arts. I believe every child has an artist inside them, and my goal is to help them find their artistic voice, trust their ideas and explore possibilities.
Sheri Carlson

Sheri finds great joy in seeing the impact that art and creativity have on the lives of our community. She has a background in microbiology and food science, but has always been drawn to learning new ways to incorporate art into her life.
She loves to paint in watercolor in her free time.
ARTree family events are a favorite of hers, watching all ages experience the joys of creating together.
Chrystal Walker

Chrystal was born in Afton, Wyo. A small rural town with plenty of space to roam and allow her imagination take hold. She studied art at Weber State University in Ogden, Ut., and The College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, CA (where she found printmaking). Chrystal also enjoys teaching art both privately and publicly. She also teaches summer workshops for young artists called Creating with Chrystal.
